I want my clothes to say “I HAVE STOPPED TRYING TO PLEASE OTHERS“.
My vision of beauty and fashion is twisted, we can all see that. I’m fascinated with the concept of what makes us ugly and why. And therefore, I have an obsession with making the ugly beautiful. I’m in constant search of what masculinity and femininity is and why we are so keen on seperating those two.
In my world, women are always acting out on their masculinity. Dressing in mens clothing has a different feel to it, because it’s associated with power. My women loves being women but they are not comfortable being associated with what women are or should be. And the same goes for the men.
I take a preference in working with classical and fully accomplished things. To learn what makes something complete and perfect before breaking it all to pieces to create something unexpected and new.
